just to give you an update. ICANN - via the GNSO - has authorized the creation of a Special Trademark Interest (STI) team, tasked to tackle trademark issues. Constituencies are expected to select their representatives to discuss these issues and reach a consensus. The team will most likely be comprised of 12 people from a divergence of groups.
